Sunday Family Update

This week I have some very exciting news to share! We are buying a house and moving in over the next few weeks! I picked up the keys today and we will start taking stuff over little by little. I'll be painting and decorating the kids rooms and the kitchen before moving all the rest of the big thing in. I am so very excited about owning this home. It is a beautiful place and I can't wait for my kids to grow up there.

As far as the kids they are doing great. Baby girl is rolling all over the places still. She has started pushing her self up and trying to climb over things a little bit. It won't be long before she figures out how to crawl! My big boy has been doing a lot better with her. Slowly but surly he is warming up to her.

 Today I will be sharing the Nuby iMonster Toddler Plate! My son instantly loved it!

I absolutely love the design of the iMonster Toddler Plate! It is made out of durable plastic and it is BPA free. The bright colors will hold up to being washed and it is Microwave safe.

The plate is great for my toddler! He likes to pick up his plate and carry it around. The blue fingers have groves under them that make it easier for my son to hold onto it. It is made out of durable plastic and it is BPA free.

Citrus Lane February 6 month old girl

Sunday Family Update

Well its yet another Sunday. I can't believe how fast this last week went by! We made it to West Virginia today to visit my husbands parents. Both of the kids did extremely well in the car. It was probably the easiest trip we have done so far.
In other news we signed papers on our new house! I am very excited to move into our forever home! As soon as we get back we will start painting and moving stuff in.
I'll be posting lots of reviews over the next few days so be on the lookout!

Sunday Family Update

Well another week has gone by. Baby girl is now rolling all over the place. She can easily get from one side of the room to the other in a matter of minutes! She is stating to sit up really well by herself now too.
Both kids are feeling much better now. Hopefully next week when we go visit my husbands parents I'll be able to catch up on my sleep. We will be leaving next Sunday and staying till Friday. I'm not to excited about the 9 hour car trip. I could barley do it with one kid so I have no idea what its going to be like with 2! Baby girl is still breastfed full time so we will probably end up stopping every 2-3 hours so I can feed her.
Today we went and looked at a house we are interested in buying. Its a beautiful home and we really liked it. We put an offer in and should hear back soon! I really hope they accept it. The house has everything I've ever wanted plus some! It would seriously be an answered prayer if we got it. I will make sure to update on the house status as soon as I know something.

Nuby Rhythm Dual Action Electric Breast Pump Review and Giveaway

Today I will be sharing the Nuby Rhythm Dual Action Electric Breast Pump. I am very excited to show you all the GREAT features this pump has to offer!

My favoirte part is the lid that keeps it clean! The silicon horn is fabulous too. It is very comfortable to use.

I have used a few different brands and styles of pumps and I have to say this is the ONLY one I own that acts as a manual OR an electric breastpump. It is VERY easy to change it too.

 It literately took only seconds to change from a manual into an electric and. It is so simple! I LOVE it!

The power source is on the top of the electric part. It has a really long cord too which is great.

I know I've already said it but I will say it again. I LOVE THIS PUMP! the only down side is it is a single and not a double. Maybe sometime soon Nuby will come out with a new double pump ;) *hint hint

I love that you can easily program it to remember your UNIQUE combination of fast and slow. I have never seen that feature in a pump before and its wonderful. I have been using the pump every morning to pump milk for my daughters food. I can easily get out 4-5 oz in less then 10 minutes.

Sick Kids

My son has been sick for over a week now. My daughter finally caught it last Thursday. Now I have 2 sicks kids and only 2 hands! They have been so clingy lately. I haven't been able to get much work done due to them constantly needing me. I have been able to get a little bit of work done while my oldest is taking his nap, but that seems to be the only time I get anything done. My daughter has been staying up super late so I haven't been able to work after bed time like I normally do.

 On the plus side my son is almost fully recovered. He has been on antibiotics since last Tuesday and they have helped a ton! My daughter on the other hand is still pretty stuffed up and crabby. Thank goodness for my Boba Wrap! I don't know what I would do without it. Babywearing has definitely saved my sanity when dealing with sick kids.

 I have several posts in the works right now. By the end of the weekend I should be totally caught up! I'm definitely looking forward to having healthy kids again! We have been lucky this winter and this has been the only time we had sickness go through our household. I pray this is the last time too.

Nuby 2 in 1 Natural Touch Warmer and Sterilizer

 

Today I will be sharing the Nuby 2 in 1 Natural Touch Warmer and Sterilizer. As a mom with 2 kids I am constantly sterilizing cups. During flu season I sterilize cups every day to help cut down on the germs. My kids still ended up getting sick, but I don't think it is as bad as it could of been.

I really love how simple and easy it is to sterilize cups and/or bottles and also to warm up breastmilk and food. Here is step by step pictures of how to use it as a sterilizer.

Before you start make sure to ADD the water first! To sterilize the chart included says 45 ml which is almost 2 of the measuring cups full.

Put cup/bottle in upside down in the holder. As you can see even my son's 10 oz cup fits just fine!

Put the basket into the warmer.

Put the cap on WITHOUT the ring.

Press down the button till it turns on.

It takes about 5 minutes for it to finish. It will turn itself off once the water runs out.

Wait a few minutes after its done because it will be VERY HOT!

 Its really easy to warm up breastmilk and baby food too!

Put defrosted ( NOT frozen) breastmilk into the basket and place it into the warmer. Make sure you add the appropriate amount of water. There is a chart included.

Place ring on top WITHOUT the lid to reheat breastmilk and food.

The process is the same as sterilizing. Press the button and wait for the water to run out. It is very simple! I really love the Nuby Natural Touch 2 in 1 Warmer and Sterilizer! It is a must have in every household and can be used for several years. It doesn't take up very much space either so it is easily stored. It also looks nice on the counter.
