Sunday Family Update + Announcement

Well another Sunday has come and gone. The weeks are flying by over here. My kids are growing and changing by the day! It is so cool watching them develop their own personality.

My daughter for sure has changed so much in the 6 months she has been with us. I can't believe a half of year has already went by since her birth. She is getting close to crawling already. I would say in the next month or so she will start. I can already tell as soon as she starts being mobile she won't stop just like her big brother.

My son has been doing a lot better with his jealousy issues. I try to take time every day to spend one on one time with him, and it has worked so well! I love how much he is growing and changing too. He is becoming so talkative. My son has been going through "calling me by my first name" thing again. Its actually pretty hilarious to hear him call me "Taya" instead of "mom".

Now for  my update and announcement. I want to spend more time writing about "Adventures". There is so many cool things to see and do in my area. I want to show my readers what fun and exciting things we do around here. I am also looking for local readers to add to this. If your interested in writing about your "Adventures" please email me! Or you can leave a comment below and I will get back to you.

I will continue to do reviews and occasional giveaway so that will not change. I will also be covering cloth diaper, breastfeeding, and babywearing information. I would love to continue teaching so I'll be working more on teaching material and resources for cloth diapers.

Computer Problems

Over the last few days I have been trying to get my laptop back up and running. I have got it going pretty good now. I have a lot of work to catch up on so please bear with me. I appreciate everyones patience!

I'll be working on some reviews and cloth diaper articles over the next few days. I'm hoping to get at least one of each done by tomorrow.

Rumparooz Giveaway!

I love Rumparooz. They are one of my all time favorite cloth diapers. Rumparooz has been my go to night time diaper for a few years. I love all the cute prints and fun colors Rumparooz offers too.

 Here is a mini break down of the Rumparooz One Size cloth diaper.

Rumparooz OS on the smallest setting. It fits Newborns 6-10 pounds.

Rumparooz OS on the largest setting. It fits 27-35+ pounds.

     

My daughter is on the Medium setting which is 17-27 pounds. She will be 6 months at the end of January.

I really love the fit of Rumparooz and so does she!

Now I'll show you a step by step guide on how to stuff the Rumparooz OS pocket diaper.

 

The Rumparooz comes with 2 soaker pads.

"Each diaper comes with a free microfiber "Rumparooz 6r Soaker". This unique and super thirsty insert will grow with the diaper and has 6 different size and absorbency settings to customize for your babies need. The 6r Soaker also has custom settings for the different areas that girls and boys need absorption most." Quote from Rumparooz Website.

1) Snap the larger soaker pad down.

To use both inserts snap the smaller insert on top of the larger one.

2) Open your pocket located in the back of the diaper.

3) Grab the TOP where both inserts are connected ( or snapped over if your just using one).

4) Stuff your diaper by pushing it to the front of the diaper.

5) Put on your baby :)

Teaching My First Cloth Diaper 101 Class Celebration

I am happy to announce that teaching my first cloth diaper 101 went great! I think everyone learned a lot, and I really enjoyed teaching. Over the next few weeks I'll be writing several posts including going over how you can get started teaching about cloth, a how to teach guide, a post about my experience, and a post with resource links.
