My first EVER.....

Today when I got the mail I was super excited to see a package. I was even more excited to open it and see what was inside.... Any guesses what it was??? It was my FIRST EVER CLOTH DIAPER!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was the first time I ever even seen one in person. I was amazed at how soft it was. I always thought the outside of them would be plastic. I was very wrong. I can't wait till my husband gets home so I can show him how awesome it is!

It came with 2 different inserts. One is a one-size that has snaps on it so you can adjust it based on your babies weight, and the other is a newborn insert. I really like the snaps on the one-size insert. I know it will help make it easier to adjust it, and stay in place. I decided right away to try and "stuff" the diaper. I was amazed at how EASY it was to get it inside and in the right place!!

There is a picture of the diaper after I stuffed it. It seriously took me 5 seconds to do.
I can't wait to get this diaper on my baby boys bottom!!!! I'm looking forward to writing up the review, and of course my husbands reaction!

Now I would like to take a moment to thank All About Baby Boutique for giving me the opportunity to test this diaper. I am very thankful for everything you have done for me.

What a weekend!

I had a very busy weekend! On Saturday I had my first Thirty-One Gifts party with a friend of mine from high school. It went so well!!! She earned $140 in FREE stuff!! Also 4 half priced items and one of the hostess exclusives! She was super happy she got the rolling tote she wanted! The party really got me pumped! I'm so glad I decided to join. Today was my husbands only day off, and it was filled to the brim with lots of things to do. We got our sons 3 month pictures done, and scheduled his Easter ones. He did such a good job too. We got some super cute ones! I can't wait to go pick them up and add them to the wall. During the shoot our son spit up all over his outfit. It's a good thing I had some back up cloths packed in his diaper bag. I have definitely learned to always be prepared. There was a few times when he was just a newborn I forgot to pack extra cloths. I learned pretty fast to ALWAYS have at least one extra set packed in his diaper bag.
After we got home from getting the pictures done my husband and I cleaned the house top to bottom. It helps having him here to help me. It gets it done a lot faster with both of us cleaning. Once our son went to bed for the night we settled in to watch a movie. We had gotten a really funny one from Netflix to watch. I'm glad I got to spend some quality time with my husband today. It really stinks when he is working 50+ hours a week. I mean the money is nice, but only seeing him for 15 minutes a day stinks. I know its longer then that but it sure feels like a very short time.
Last week I received my prize from Simple Green and I had the chance to use some of the pet stain remover. It worked GREAT! I will write up a review later in the week and share some pictures. Speaking of reviews I had a great idea for a blog series. The only problem is I'm having problems finding company's to sponsor it. Everyone who replied to my e-mails said it was a great idea, but they get a million e-mails a day asking for donations. I was really hoping I could get some help with it. Worse comes to worse I will just have to save up the money and get everything I need for it myself. I will have to stick a couple hundred dollars into it, but I really think it will be worth it. My idea has the potential to help a lot of families out there. I will definitional be praying about it. I know if anyone can help me it is the man upstairs.
Wow. I just looked at the clock and it is already 3:55 AM!!! I am going to be hurting tomorrow. I have to take my son to the doctor in the morning. He had thrush for a few weeks and has to go back for a check up. I also have to go deposit the checks from the party so on the first I can close it. I should really go to bed now. I will definitional be writing up a review for the Simple Green this week, and also starting my "special project". Maybe not the part that cost money, but the research and interview parts.

Good night for now. :)

Baby boy cont..

So my baby boy in finally sleeping for the night. :) I am getting pretty tired myself. I have a pretty busy day ahead of me tomorrow. I would like to share a few more pictures.

This is my baby boy only a few hours old. I love this picture since he looks like he is smiling in it.

The black and white one is from a few days ago. I was super excited to finally get a smiling picture!!! I can't believe how much he has grown. He has almost doubled his birth weight!!! He was 7 pounds 7 ounces at birth and the last time he went to the doctor ( 2 weeks ago ) he was 12 pounds 6 ounces! Pretty soon he won't be a little baby anymore. It kinda makes me sad to think about that. Pretty soon here we will be starting to try for baby # 3. I really hope next time around it is a girl. I would love to have a little girl to buy dresses, bows, and shoes for!

I'm starting to get super sleepy so this is all for now. :)

Baby boy

Today my baby boy is 3 months old!!! Where has the time gone?? It seriously feels like just yesterday I was still pregnant anticipating his arrival.

This is a picture of the first time I met my bundle of joy! I am so very blessed to have him in our lives. I am excited to see him grow. He is waking up from his nap so I will have to finish up a little later. <3 <3 <3

Paci-Catchers Review

Originally Published on: Feb 11, 2011

You know that game you play with your babies? The one where they drop their pacifier every 5 minutes, and you spend half the night looking for it? Well I no longer have to play that game with my son thanks to Paci-Catchers!

A few weeks back I entered a giveaway on facebook for a gift certificate for Paci-Catchers. Unfortunately I didn't win at that time. After talking with my husband we decided we should order a few so we didn't have to go out and buy a new pack of pacifiers every other week. My husband asked if she offered any NASCAR themed ones. I didn't see any in her albums that would fit that so I posted a message on her wall asking if she had any. A few hours later I had a message in my inbox from Audrey with a picture of a ribbon she could order to make the ones we wanted. After exchanging a few messages I decided to order two of them in that print.

A week and a half after placing my order I received my Paci-Catchers in the mail. I was super excited to see how they turned out, and to see if my son liked them. I was really amazed at how nice they are. The ribbon is thick, and the printed is exactly what we had in mind. I love the clip that attaches to my son cloths. It is smooth and flat so it lays nicely on top of his outfit without getting in the way during feedings and playtime. It has plastic claws inside so it doesn't ruin his cloths, and it has a strong enough grip so he can't tear it off. A nice extra feature is that you can adjust how long the ribbon is very easily. I also found that I can attach his toys to it too!

I am totally in love with his Paci-Catchers! The fact I don't have to go searching for his pacifier is nice, and all the extras make it even more of a great buy. All in all I am very happy with my purchase. I will be recommending Paci-Catchers to my friends and family, and making additional purchases in the future. :)

Paci-Catchers also offers: Mitten-Catchers, Sippy-Catchers, Sophie-Catchers, and Pants-Catchers
